This page outlines how your Torn API key is used when you register on this website. We are committed to transparency and ensuring you understand what data we access and why.

Standard Member (Public API Access)

A "Public" level API key is the minimum requirement for all members of the Nuclear Faction Family.

Persistent - until leaving the faction family	Nobody (Faction if optional key usage enabled)	Initial Registration: To verify you are a member of the Nuclear Faction Family. Periodic Checks (1-2 times/24hrs): To ensure your key is still valid and to check for changes in faction API access permissions. Optional Features (Opt-in): For public API calls such as checking who has revives enabled for revive contracts. Your key may be used from a pool for various public data calls, with usage tracked to prevent overuse.	Stored / Used only for automation	Public

Faction Leadership (Limited API Access)

If your API key has "Limited" access and if it has faction API access, it will be used for additional purposes to gather faction-level data. This is typically required for leadership or other specific roles within the faction.
